Given the choice, nearly everyone would prefer to live in their own home, instead of leaving familiar surroundings and moving into residential care.
Community Careline Services is now making that choice a realistic option for the elderly and people with disabilities who wish to remain in their own homes for as long as reasonably possible.
Community Careline Services provides a comprehensive 24-hour home care service in the client's own home, tailored to the specific needs of each individual client. By utilising the latest technology, we can respond in minutes to any call at any time of day or night, whether it is for assisting with dressing or toileting, preparing a meal or any number of other specified tasks.
We care for people of all ages with a range of needs including:
Frail elderly people
People with disabilities, young and old
People with learning disabilities, young and old
People with long term or debilitating illness
Mentally ill people
People recovering from operations or serious illness
People with HIV/AIDS related needs.
The services provided will vary according to the needs of the individual client. A care plan is prepared with the client, their care manager (if they are purchasing their care through social services) and a manager from Community Careline Services (Tiverton).
Part of our service is to be flexible and complement other groups of services. We work closely with the Health Services staff such as community nurses, doctors and community psychiatric nurses.
