The Larches Residential Home opened in September 1988. It is in a delightful location overlooking the Lowman Valley and the Grand Western Canal.

The Home was converted from two large Victorian houses into a 20 bedded home with fully up to date facilities, including a lift to all floors, call bells, TV's and telephones in all rooms. There are lovely grounds in which to while away a few hours during the summer months.

The decor is very comfortable and homely. Residents are encouraged to bring in some items of their own furniture to make their rooms more individual.

Jean Gale is the manager of The Larches. Jean joined the company in 2006 bringing with her years of experience particularly in the area of care home administration.

We place training as a high priority and encourage staff to come to our regular in house training sessions. Several members of staff have achieved NVQ levels II and III, as well as other qualifications.

At The Larches we offer a home from home atmosphere with caring staff and good quality home cooked food.

The Larches specialises in the care of EMI Clients. Prices range from £400 depending on client dependency.

We can also offer Day Care for clients from the local community in order that they may socialise, have assisted baths and enjoy company of their own age.
